14 DAY RETURN POLICY
Within 14 days of the product purchase date you may return products purchased at ikarustech.com's store for a refund. Physical products must be returned in their original condition and packaging with all included parts.
You shall be responsibe to ship the product internationaly back to Ikarus Technologies in Kuwaitt using either DHL/UPS/Fedex. Furthermore, Ikarus Technologies charges a non-negotiable 15% restocking fee for all non-defective returned orders.
Product exchanges are only available for products that you received in a defective or damaged condition or when a different product than what you ordered was incorrectly sent to you.
Shipping and handling is non-refundable on product returns under the 30 Day Return Policy, unless you received a damaged product or the wrong product was sent to you, in which case we will also pay the return shipping cost.
If the item you are returning was a gift, please enclose the name and e-mail address of the person who sent you the gift along with the reason for the return.
Packing and Sending Your Return:
- Pack the items along with a copy of the packing slip (receipt) securely in a box. Your order number MUST be included with the return to get your refund.
- Send the return package to the address provided by the support team.
- Shipment via EMS or USPS is not accepted. Only shipment via Fedex/UPS/DHL are permitted.
We recommend that you use a shipper with delivery confirmation to ensure your package is received and your refund processed. Refunds of the product's purchase price under Ikarus Technology 30 Day Return Policy will be made by the original payment method. After processing your refund, you will receive a confirmation email with a refund receipt.
StellarMate OS licence is non-exclusive and non-transferrable. The license permits the user to use StellarMate iOS/Android App with StellarMate OS on approved devices with approved accessories only. The licencee is granted free support for (1) year including TeamViewer (6 hours total), chat, and email support. After (1) year, only chat and email support is available. The licencee shall receive bug fixes and updates to the core OS for (3) years.
Licensee shall not share the account credentials with any 3rd party. Anti-fraud software will flag such incidents to protect the user account and the account shall be marked as on-hold.
Ikarus Astronomical Company For Scientific Instruments & Tools (‘Ikarus Technologies’) warrants to the original retail purchaser that the products covered by this limited warranty statement conform to the manufacturer’s specifications and will be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. For warranty service, you will need to provide proof of the date of original purchase.
REPLACEMENTS UNDER WARRANTY
If authorized, Ikarus Technologies will exchange the product without charge. Ikarus Technologies will ship a replacement product to you, freight prepaid. Ikarus Technologies shall mark the package as a replacement but is not responsible for any customs charges that might be incurred by your country custom policies. You are responsible for securely packing the defective product. When possible, A Fedex RMA should be issued where Fedex would pick up the shipment for return. If Fedex RMA service is not available for your location, or if the product was ordered for more than three months, then you need to ship the unit to a local address supplied by us based on your geographic location at your own cost. Ikarus Technologies shall ship the product after receving the defective item.
The item replaced becomes the property of Ikarus Technologies. The replacement product may be new or refurbished to the Ikarus Technologies standard of quality, and, at Ikarus Technologies option, may be another model of like kind and quality. Ikarus Technologies' liability for replacement of the covered product will not exceed the product’s original retail price. Exchanged products assume the remaining warranty period of your original product covered by this warranty.
This warranty covers only normal use. Warranty is void if any of the following conditions are met:
- Installing another OS or Modifying StellarMate OS. Regular updates are fine.
- Installing addon hardware modules.
- Operating the unit in extreme heat (> 40C) or extreme cold (< -20C).
- Using non-approved power adapter or supply. Use only official power supply.
This warranty is not transferable. Ikarus Technologies is not responsible for warranty replacement should the Ikarus Tecnologies or StellarMate label or logo be removed or should the product fail to be properly maintained or fail to function properly as a result of misuse, abuse, immersion in liquids, improper installation, neglect, improper shipping, damage caused by disasters such as fire, flood, or service other than by Ikarus Technologies.
THE WARRANTY AND REMEDY PROVIDED ABOVE ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. SOME LAWS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES. IF THESE LAWS APPLY, THEN ALL EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED TO THE WARRANTY PERIOD IDENTIFIED ABOVE. UNLESS STATED HEREIN, ANY STATEMENT OR REPRESENTATIONS MADE BY ANY OTHER PERSONS OR FIRM ARE VOID. EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY, IKARUS TECHNOLOGIES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, INCONVENIENCE, OR DAMAGE, INCLUDING DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, RESULTING FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE IKARUS TECHNOLOGIES PRODUCT, WHETHER RESULTING FROM BREACH OF WARRANTY OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, and some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you special legal rights and you may have other rights which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.
